Oorooj Qadri, a mother of an aspiring gymnast living in West London. She had a dream where she could help mothers have an amazing birth experience like she did. Being fortunate to have support and love when her son was born. Living in London, it is easy for women who are expecting or new mums to be side lined. People saying ‘just get on with it like I did!’ is a negative connotation to someone that has to learn to be a mother from scratch, not knowing what to expect. She sees pregnancy, birth, and the growth of a family as one of the most beautiful things about humanity.
Oorooj offers support to women and their partners before, during and after childbirth. Her role is to help facilitate safe, positive and empowering birthing experiences by offering the information, emotional support and physical support needed during this time.
